Your kit contains the DSH-5 10/100 Mbps Dual-Speed SOHO Hub with Switch, which will be referenced as Hub or DSH-5 in the remainder of this manual. Once your network has been installed, you will have little need to access your Hub -– it operates without maintenance -– except when you expand your network or have a need to troubleshoot your network.

A.   Place the four supplied self-adhesive rubber feet on the bottom of the DSH-5.

B.   Position the Hub in the location you selected in the "Network Planning" section.

C.   Connect the provided AC Adapter to the Hub. Then plug the AC Adapter into an available AC power receptacle.

D.   Ensure that the "10/100Dual EXP" switch on the back of the DSH-5 is set to the "10/100Dual" position.
