 Introduction
 
        Getting Started will describe the installation instructions.

 Requirements
 
        A PCMCIA compatible Laptop
        A PCMCIA chipset that is PCIC compatible (Intel, Cirrus, Vadem, and
         VLSI) or Databook compatible.
        AT&T UNIX SVR4.2.2
        A DE-650CT (our single media cards are not supported, 650T and 650C)
        A knowledge of basic Unix commands and editing text files

 Minimum Skill Level
 
        A knowledge of basic Unix commands
        A knowledge of editing text files
        A knowledge of Unix basic file structure
        A knowledge of the network driver configuration being used
        Please see Support Options if you are not comfortable will this
         skill level

 Compatibility List
 
        DE-650CT only (will not run with DE-650T or DE-650C)
        Removal of any present PCMCIA drivers
        For a laptop compatibility list please consult your local
         D-Link Branch Office

 Getting Started
 
        NOTE: Commands in UNIX are case-sensitive, thus, those in upper-case
              will be treated differently from those in lower-case.

        Login to UNIX as "root".  Type:

          login: root
          Password: XXXXXX

        Specify your password.

        Insert the driver diskette in Drive A: (or B:), and execute the
                following commands to copy the AT&TUNIX driver into the UNIX's
                directories:

          (for Drive A:)
          #doscp a:/at\&tunix/setup65s ./setup65s
          #chmod +x ./setup65s
          #./setup65s a:

          (for Drive B:)
          #doscp b:/at\&tunix/setup65s ./setup65s
          #chmod +x ./setup65s
          #./setup65s b:

        Install the driver.  Type:

          #cd /usr/lib/tcprt/dlk
          #./d65e

        The following message appears:

        Do you wish to install or delete the network driver(i/d/q)?

        Answer "i" to install the adapter.  Depending on the number of adapters
         installed in your system, the following prompts appear:

                /* first adapter installation */
                        Do you want to configure Board_0? (y/n/q)   y
                        Interrupt vector number[5]:   5
                        IO Base Address (in hexadecima)[300]:   300
                        RAM Base Address( in hexadecimal)[D000]:   D000
                        PCMCIA Slot Number[0]:   0
                        Enter number of media selection [3]:   3
                        Please enter the IP host name for the
                        device d65e_0(default:xx ) XXXX
                        Please Initialize the IP Address for host XXXX: n.n.n.n
                        Configure host XXXX with default Ethernet (TM)
                        ifconfig option?   yes
