Tipard Video Downloader is a professional Video Downloader, which can not only download YouTube videos but also convert downloaded YouTube Videos to various video/audio formats. It highly supports download videos from Youtube, Facebook, Metacafe, Dailymotion, Vimeo, Vevo and Yahoo sites. The downloaded video can also be converted to various video/audio formats.

UnInstallation

There are two methods available to remove Tipard Video Downloader from your computer:

Method One: Click Windows Start menu, go to "All Programs", find "Tipard Video Downloader", and select "Uninstall".

Method Two:
Windows XP： My Computer > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Uninstall.
Windows 7： Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall > find the program > right click to uninstall.
Windows 8: Settings > Control Panel > Programs > Choose the program you want to uninstall > Uninstall.

Click Register in the top right corner of the main interface to open the following registration window.

Please input the Email Address which you have used to purchase this software, and the registration code you received from your email after you purchase it.

Getting Started

Follow the following steps to download and convert YouTube videos:

Step1. Paste Url
Preview the online video and copy the previewed video url, and then click Paste Url button on the toolbar, then the previewed url will be shown on the "Add New Download" window automatically. Or click File>> Paste Url option in the main menu and copy & paste the video url.

Step2. Analyze URL and Download Video

Click the Analyze, the video prosperities including (resolution, size, codec, format and bitrate) will be shown. Select the one or all of them as you need to downloaded and click "OK" to download video.
Tips:
(1) Only Download - Once this radio is selected, the video will only be downloaded after you click "OK".
(2) Automatically Convert to - Once this radio is selected, you should select the profile first and after the file is downloaded it will be converted the the selected profile automatically.

Step3. Convert Downloaded Videos

Click the Downloaded part in the left column, you can see the list of downloaded files. Click the icon

button to convert video files. Click

to cancel this conversion and click

to make this conversion pause. You can click

to delete this conversion.
After conversion, you can get the converted files in the Converted column, Right click in the right column and select Open Converted Folder to get the videos.

Edit Preferences Options

Click the Preferences under Tools to open the Preference window.

General

Location: Set the destination for the downloaded and converted files.

Update Settings: You can decide if this app automatically check for program updates or not, and you can also set for the update time interval (Every Day/Every Week/Every Month).

Download

Task: You can set the maximum tasks that the app can downloaded at the same time.

Convert: You can select only download to download video only or select automatically convert to ... to automatically convert video after download.

How to Download YouTube Video

Step1. Paste Url

Step1. Get the Downloaded Files
Users can directly convert downloaded files when Automatically Convert to: is selected. If you have just now downloaded the videos, you can see get the downloaded file here:

Step 2. Select Output Profile

You can follow the device catalog to select the profile as needed or input the format or device in the quick search frame to select the format quickly.

Step 3. Convert Downloaded Video

Click the Downloaded part in the left column, you can see the list of downloaded files. Click the icon

How to Convert Local Videos

The Process of adding new conversion can only work after registeration.

Step 1. Add Local Video

You have two ways to add local videos.
Way 1: Click File >> Add New Conversion and then select the files to added. And then you will see the added file on the Download part.
Way 2: Get the Downloaded part and right Click and select Add New Conversion and then select the files to added. And then you will see the added file on the Download part.
